Animal Rights Zone

Fighting for animal liberation and an end to speciesism

Do you have stories to tell about workplace outreach, friend outreach, family outreach, street activism, demo tactics, or other things?

One of ARZone's members suggested (Thanks Lisa!) that we host a forum where advocates and activists would be able to share with others stories and ideas about strategies, tactics, events, campaigns and other things that have proven successful.

Please use this forum to let everyone know what you done or what you have seen others do that has worked. Please either comment below, or create a new forum topic in this category.

Thanks!!

Does anyone do library displays?  Our local library (Toowoomba) allows one full and one mini display per year if you class your subject as 'community'.  They have 55,000 people through the library per month, and the success of the display can be measured by the number of brochures taken.  It's quick and easy, doesn't take much time, and can be effective.  Feels kind of tame to post this under Igualdad Animal!

Leigh Chantelle does regular talks at the Brisbane library in the city, Mo, but I don't think she's actually left a display or literature there for people to utilise during the week.

I know at the local Redcliffe library there is quite a bit of traffic through there during the week. It's a very interesting idea!
