BREAKING NEWS: Activists in Shanghai intercepted a cat trafficker early this morning (6 January 2014) with the help of local police at Qi Lian Shan Nan Lu, Pu Tuo, Shanghai (祁连山南路, 普陀, 上海). They held up the traffickers, the truck and their motorbikes and more than 20 crates of containing hundreds of cats. Some dogs are suspected to have canine distemper, but the activists still have no distemper testing kits to confirm this. They have been setting up new cages to separate the dogs, which include 5 pregnant bitches. They urgently need more volunteers to help and donations of rice, serum and used clothing & blankets.

Do you remember when we featured the little puppy who wouldn't leave his dead sister's side after she was killed by a car back in November? We have great news!! The pup has been rescued by moonbears.org, an organisation that campaigns to end the bear bile farms in Korea.
