Animal rights philosopher, and "one of fifty visionaries who are changing the world" (Utne Reader), Professor Tom Regan delivered this inspirational keynote address to a rally in Los Angeles in April 1988. Tom's speech, titled "The Sword of Justice, The Torch of Reason", is still considered by many to be "The greatest animal rights speech ever given".

Twenty six years after giving this speech, Professor Regan sat down with Gary Comstock to speak about the events leading up to this speech, and if he had any regrets. That interview can be found here:
