Carol is a vegan feminist theorist and author of books on eco-feminism and the links between species oppression and gender oppression, who, since the early 1970’s has been advocating for women’s rights, animal rights and an end to poverty, racism and sexism.
Carol argues that the objectification of both women and animals follow similar patterns - both being sexualised, dehumanised and abused.
On this, the 20th anniversary of Carol’s “underground classic” – “The Sexual Politics of Meat”, Carol has generously agreed to be this weekend’s Live Chat Guest in ARZone.
