China:~Confiscated Ivory Destroyed In Public, Guangdong. Shown On State TV. Video

China has for the first time destroyed confiscated Ivory in the open at Dongguan, Guangdong. 
6.1 tonnes of ivory with a total value of 300 million Yuan were destroyed. 
State Forestry Administration for Wildlife and Plant Protection Division Engineer Mr. Yan says China is showing the world its determination and actions to end the illegal trading of ivory. The event was broadcast on state television.
