Fighting for animal liberation and an end to speciesism
This is Mai Er, a blind dog, rescued by Aunty, an independent rescuer from Taiyuan, Shaanxi:
"It has been six months since I rescued Mai Er. None of the boy dogs at home were spared the snip. Mai Er was the only one left from going under knife because I felt heavy hearted since he had been through so much in his life. When the girls are in heat, Mai Er would be put inside a cage, but no matter how, Mai Er can still unlock the latch and open the door of the cage.
This morning, Grandpa Wang (a volunteer) came to send Mai Er to the vet for his desexing operation. Mai Er is blind but he is a sweet obedient boy".
