Fighting for animal liberation and an end to speciesism
Episode 2 features Sebastian, a staff writer at Vegan Publishers, part-time lecturer on speciesism at Columbia University, and volunteer coordinator for VINE Sanctuary.
Focused in his work mostly on examining the complex relationships between speciesism, racism, and queer oppression, Sebastian speaks with ARZone about how Intersectionality can be used as a lens through which we can understand others as individuals. He also talks about whether or not veganism is “easy”, and what that means, as well as how we may be able to influence other progressive social movements to adopt an anti-speciesist position.
