brevard county florida no-kill compliance

           Brevard County Florida is pursuing no-kill in the two open admission kennels. This

was started two years ago. I can't find any information, anywhere, as to the progress of the

movement. Is the 2010 kill rate still 61%, as was in 2007 ? I have been a volunteer about a year

at the South Animal Adoption and Care Center. I know the staff, and other volunteers, but

nobody seems to know much of anything regarding progress after two years of no-kill pursuit.

         I feel we need to form an oversight committee to demand accountability as a wedge

against backsliding on the no-kill agenda by the shelter director and others.

         As a volunteer I walk dogs, and sleocialize them, as to hopefully make them more adoptive. The 2 Brevard county-run shelters in all reality is Doggie Death Row. Adoptable pets

are still being killed continually for space.

            The pet-loving public of Brevard County wants change. Anyone want to work with me

Happy to meet you. I live in Hillsborough County and never heard of Brevards no-kill concept. Glad you want to help facilitate a change. by Nathan Winograd called "Redemption". It's available from Amazon over the net. This book is the blueprint
