Fighting for animal liberation and an end to speciesism

Hi, I am a mathematician who has been working in Germany about five years and I am just about to move to the Netherlands with my partner. My interest in animal ethics began about twenty years ago when I read Peter Singer's "Animal Liberation". I was involved with Animal Liberation NSW for a while and have also done paid work for the University of Sydney delivering lectures about animal ethics to groups of students about to embark on animal research projects. I have an interest in the effective altruist movement.

Welcome, Rupert! Have you read Tom Regan's work? I recommend it.

Yes, I was re-reading it just recently, actually.
