A place for animal advocates to gather and discuss issues, exchange ideas, and share information.
Animal Rights Zone (ARZone) is an animal rights site. As such, it is the position of ARZone that it is only by ending completely the use of other animal as things can we fulfill our moral obligations to them.
Please read the full site disclosure here.
Animal Rights Zone (ARZone) exists to help educate vegans and non-vegans alike about the obligations human beings have toward all other animals.

We look forward to your upcoming ARZone chat in a few hours. My question is how in your own mind you place the liberation work and the work of building a different kind of material and technological instrastructure that doesn't use animals. It isn't a 'populist' task, and so far, our (excuse for a) 'movement' has urged people towards economic boycotts, picketing, and parading the (sexy) 'desirability' of the (purported) benefits of vegan plant-based diets to ogling passersby. We want animals 'out of oppression', but long-term planning that includes all the interested parties ('stakeholders' - a word I despise because of the 'homonym') may be the only way to get 'buy-in' from the nonvegetarian public. I hope you will say something about what you are doing now.
Live long and prosper!
