Typhoon Fitow has caused flooding and devastation to China's southeastern Zhejiang and Fujian regions.

In Ningbo city, Zhejiang, flood water affected Ningbo shelter with the animals having not eaten or drunk for 2 days. All dog and cat foods are soaking in water. Ms Yu, the lady in charge walked 2.5 hours to reach the shelter and put the dogs in a higher place out of the water. Calls for help were placed on Weibo.
