Fighting for animal liberation and an end to speciesism
i'm usualy not one to get annoyed with what people do, but when people criticise us for not eating animal products .. it gets me a tad upset! they dont have to be vegan or believe in the same things as us.. but they don't have to be rude and think of us as any less a person then them.. just because of what we eat and believe! i really hope people will change their ways soon.. because I'm getting a tiny bit agitated!

Comment by Jaylene Musgrave on March 19, 2013 at 15:09 hi layni, this is something that is in human nature when someone is different. iv been bullied and judged my entire teen and adult life because i wouldnt eat my friends. just remember they are the ones who are brainwashed and unable to think for themselves. you're amazing girl to be so strong and kind and i send you so much love...jaylene xx (founder vegan warriors)

Comment by Carolyn Bailey on March 17, 2013 at 15:39 Hi Layni!
It's really difficult sometimes when others make us feel like they're judging us, I agree with you! I try to remember that those people who aren't vegan are often feeling confronted and defensive when they act in that way. I guess it might be difficult for them to stop and think that maybe they're responsible for some of the suffering and exploitation that you (we) are so opposed to and that makes them uncomfortable - for good reason.
Are you familiar with the Melbourne based group ATAAC - Australian Teens Against Animal Cruelty? Let me know if you'd like more information about them, they're a great group of people from what I know of them.
