Hold Petco Accountable

Again  Petco gets unfavorable coverage (rightfully so) in the media now concerning one of its groomers for failure to remove a dog in time from a heated drying cage resulting in this precious pet being cooked  to death.  Unfortunately this situation is also occurring with other pet groomers.  This needs to be stopped by tightening up animal abuse laws to prevent this from happening further.  This certainly is animal abuse in any sense of the word and must be stopped and stopped now.

We cannot help but bring another situation to light with Petco, even though it was over a year ago in which a local pet owner had her dog die from purchasing a chicken treat made in China.  Petco would not remove this product from its shelves until they were sold out.

Petco seems to care more about its bottom line than the care of the animals they brag about in its many advertisements.

It is high time Petco is made accountable for its negligence and lack of true concern for the animals they brag about by SHUTTING DOWN THIS COMPANY IMMEDIATELY until it straightens up its act.

I call upon the public who have pets and care deeply about them to openly boycott Petco until it corrects these abuses. The public also needs to push at all levels of government for tightening up their animal abuse laws dealing with pet groomers and sale of pet treats made in China. There is no excuse for this abuse and whatever legal pressure that can be applied must be applied NOW!
