ARZone Presents the Tom Regan Workshop
The proposed topic for this week’s workshop is the work of Professor Tom Regan.
We will be releasing excerpts of Professor Regan’s new wide-ranging ARZone interview during the week, the contents of which will form the basis of the workshop discussion this weekend.
In response to questions from the members of ARZone, Professor Regan elaborates on his ground-breaking rights-based theory of animal rights, recounts his own history of almost 40 years as an animal rights advocate, and looks forward to what the future may hold. Please read this important addition to Professor Regan’s impressive body of work as he addresses a new generation of people concerned with the lives of other animals.
On a daily basis we will be releasing the excerpts of his full ARZone interview, which represents his latest thinking and analysis on the issue of animal rights and the animal advocacy movement.
All members are encouraged to participate in this workshop, as well as to suggest topics for and participate in future forums in ARZone.
Animal Rights Zone (ARZone) exists to help educate vegans and non-vegans alike about the obligations human beings have toward all other animals. By providing a space for a variety of blog posts, forum discussions, notes, videos and more, ARZone fosters a sense of community among its members.
