Fighting for animal liberation and an end to speciesism

a tiny bit about what I do to help animals...

Hi all...

Been helping animals as long as I can remember, back in 70's when I was a lil kid 6 yrs I got a dog, a sweet dalmation, named him King.. lived for 14yrs was my best pal growing up. Also along the way I rescued some wild animals as we lived in the desert, Chiquita was a baby finch that fell out of the nest, I had to grind up sunflower seeds ( as we had a peach face luvbird) so I would peal appart the seed shells then the seeds after grinding would add water and feed to the lil bird via eye dropper, so taught her how to fly and she would live in my room, every morning when I went to school I would take her outside and she would spend the day flying around... 3:15 I get off the bus and there she was, flys down to me and off in the house we go, great memories of her.

now fast forward to July 11th 2009, I planned for 8 months a dog surf contest called SurfinPaws.com it was a dog surf contest along with a red carpet awards auction party at the Water Front Hilton in Huntington Beach CA.

Then this past Jan of 2010 I started Print4aPet.com and made my first donation. After that I decided to volunteer at the OC Animal Care Center about 12-16hrs a week. HERE is a PR on that donation and what Print4aPet is about.

I also pull out dogs on deathrow and rehab them and re home them ;) mostly biters and extreme skitish cases.

Thanks and hope you all keep helping animals as I do.

Rene

Hi Rene,

Thanks very much for sharing your experiences with us. I think it's wonderful that you are helping to rescue dogs who have been abandoned and helping to re-home them, in particular.

All the best,

Carolyn
