Fighting for animal liberation and an end to speciesism

As vegans many of us feel it's important to speak out on behalf of animals who are misused and abused in our world every day. However, there are all kinds of ways to go about being a vegan activist. In his vlog this week Michael Sizer-Watt talks about how to speak out for animals in a way that is compassionate, and creating an image for vegans that people are proud to embrace.

Thanks, Michael! I enjoyed speaking with you very much!

Richard, and Pranav, I think there are a huge number of amazing advocates for other animals that could also have been mentioned. People like Jose Valle, Roger Yates, Ronnie Lee, Patty Mark, Phil Wollen, Harold Brown and so many more. It's a shame we couldn't mention every single one of them, they all deserve thanks and congratulations for their incredible work on behalf of other animals.

If your looking to connect with what might be termed "the white upper to middle class", then fine, your examples are great. And I mean no offence to these exemplary vegans, as they speak well for me, a white upper to middle class man.

But my guess is that anybody happening upon a gathering or demo, look for like types for comfort. So all should be made to feel at home with there dress and delivery. (Within reason, of course).
