Hello Gloria. Thanks for your interesting comment, where you voice the opinion that veganism is not enough. People define veganism differently. I agree with the definition that veganism is a lot more than a diet. I regard veganism as a whole way of life that rejects all forms of animal exploitation. Within this definition there is the recognition of the need to protect the homes and habitats of nonhuman animals, which is significant part of part what is usually meant by "the environment". As for civil disobedience - yes I'm all in favour of that, when it's carried out peacefully and with respect to all nonhuman animals.
