Fighting for animal liberation and an end to speciesism
My first No 1. Survival Food is hearty Bouillon.
If you and a friend were stranded on a desert island and had to choose your first favourite 50 survival foods what would that be? I’d like to see your list too.
Survival Foods A List:
Vegan 'beefy' Bouillon or a 'winter'' bouillon like Genmai Miso dashi stock, Brown rice, Millet, Peas, Carrots, Corn, Spinach, Apples, Oranges , Berries, Mango, Potatoes, Lettuce, Broccoli, Scallions, Capsicum, Lemon, Lime, Pineapple, Red Cabbage and White Cabbage because if and when it ferments you have got yourself a kraut and a kimchi. Courgette 'flowers' top part for ‘fish n chips’. Coriander, flat-leaf parsley, canola oil, paprika, olive oil, mint sauce, powdered peanut butter, a chewy fruit and rolled oat snack bar, vegan cocoa halva snack.
Dry Storeboard Foods: Currents, Sultanas, Raisons, burger buns, rapadura sugar, Kombucha, tortilla chips, smoky mayonnaise, wholewheat flour for flatbreads, tomato paste, nutritional yeast, soy sauce, tamari and tahini.
Survival Foods B list: Any food cans of beans; a can of kidney beans or chickpeas, black beans, tomatoes. Something that requires a can opener. Vegan Worcestershire sauce. Bolivian Quinoa because it is quick action cooking, highly nutritious, GF and tasty.

The banana blossoms reference is to battered courgette tops or 'flowers'. Courgettes are a vegetable so don't worry, you are not eating flowers.
