Fighting for animal liberation and an end to speciesism

ARZone is very proud to present Ronnie Lee, this weekend Live!

ARZone is very proud to present Ronnie Lee as our Live Chat Guest this weekend.

Ronnie was a founding member of the Band of Mercy in 1972 and then the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) in 1976.

Ronnie is a veteran of the animal liberation movement and even his fiercest critics describe him as charismatic and influential.

Among many other things, Ronnie Lee has been involved in discussions about violence and non-violence for several years.  Since this is an ongoing topic of dispute and

disagreement, ARZone, in the spirit of rational discourse, has invited Ronnie to be a guest for this weekend’s “chat.”

This is a very rare opportunity to speak directly with Ronnie Lee, for which members MUST pre-register. This can be done by leaving a reply in this thread or contacting Carolyn or Roger directly in ARZone.

To ensure your direct dialogue with Ronnie, please pre-register ASAP.

It sounds like an interesting topic and I look forward to participating if I can ... if not, I'll definitely look for the transcript.

1. I know I read something by or about Ronnie Lee a few years ago, but I don't remember it all. That video was very short. Do you have any other recommended reading or videos?

2. Sometimes I don't know if it's worthwhile to submit a question or not because I assume many people will have the same questions. Maybe it would be helpful to post a list of questions other people have already asked?

3. Is there any way to encourage guests to break new ground rather than give stock answers that they've copied and pasted from an organization's Web site? I'm not suggesting Ronnie Lee will do that, just that it's something I think most of us would like to prevent in future chats no matter who the guest is.
Is it possible to ask more than one question? I've already sent my question in but I've got others if there is still some space.
You mean this one?

Thanks, I'll take a look ... the book may have to wait a while. Yes, it was Bruce's chat that I was thinking of and I wasn't suggesting the same thing would happen this time.
Hi, so is there a transcript of this chat thingy with Ronnie? I'd liek to read it!
