This is a hugely popular late night tv show in the US. The interview is over at about 5:05 - then there is a musical guest segment.
Amazing how laughable it is to a host of a public radio show that animal personhood is something worth taking seriously. Are these not the type of folks who generally hold themselves as left-of-center politically (now *that's* comedy) by espousing unquestioned support for issues like gay marriage, civil rights, etc.? How does the saying go - first they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win? It's astonishing how incredulous even the "left" has been for so many years now.
