Shannon Keith is a US based animal rights lawyer, activist, and documentarian.
She is the producer/director of the movie “Behind the Mask”, which shows the
struggle of the Animal Liberation Front, and director of
the newly released “Skin Trade”, a documentary exposing the cruel
business of using animals for fur.

Shannon is looking forward to discussing her documentaries and her legal representation of many well
known activists in her capacity as an animal rights lawyer with ARZone
members this weekend.

Thanks for organizing this chat and posting the transcript. I'm sorry I couldn't be there, and I may have to miss the next few chats because I'm busy these days, but I'll definitely check the transcripts.

I have a question about Shannon's answer to Roger's question about PETA. Was something left out? Her answer began with the word "secondly."

Also, can you provide some background for the question? Shannon seems to support PETA in some things but not others and it's not clear what you mean when you say she "supports" them?

You're right, I did miss something out, thanks for letting me know! It's fixed now :-)

I'm not entirely sure what Shannon's support for PeTA entails, I didn't think it was constructive to the conversation yesterday to elaborate on PeTA. It was obvious tempers were beginning to heat up, so tried to stop that line of questioning quick smart!

I can only guess, but I think Jose may have been referring to PeTA endorsing Shannon's films, and supporting Shannon, moreso that anything else.
